Choose a transfer with sightseeing if Chamarel is on your holiday list and you are happy to arrive later. You can visit the waterfall and Seven Coloured Earth before continuing to your Le Morne accommodation.
The sightseeing option finishes at your new hotel. You keep your luggage with the booked vehicle throughout the journey.
Before choosing, check your new hotel’s room availability and arrival arrangements. Arriving before check-in does not automatically include access to your room, lunch or other hotel facilities.
Direct Belle Mare to Le Morne transfer
Starting price: €70 per private vehicle for two adults.
Your booking includes collection at the agreed accommodation, a private driver, fuel and drop-off at your Le Morne hotel. The vehicle must have enough space for the luggage declared when booking.
This option suits guests who want:
A straightforward move between hotels.
More time at their Le Morne resort.
A shorter travel day with children.
An arrival planned around lunch, check-in or another reservation.
We plan the journey using the actual hotel entrances. A route estimate between Belle Mare village and Le Morne village will not necessarily match the journey between your two resorts.

Add Chamarel Waterfall and Seven Coloured Earth
For a focused sightseeing transfer, start with these two visits:
Collection from your Belle Mare or Palmar accommodation with all your luggage.
Travel to Chamarel.
Visit the waterfall viewpoints and Seven Coloured Earth.
Continue to your hotel in Le Morne.
Chamarel adds a visit through the southwest’s mountain roads. It is not an automatic stop included in the direct-transfer fare.
Allow around one to two hours at the Geopark, depending on your pace. The complete transfer also needs time for driving, comfort breaks and any lunch stop.
Your personalised transport price includes the agreed route, waiting during the visits and the final hotel drop-off. Entrance tickets and meals are separate.

How much are the Chamarel entrance tickets?
The published non-resident admission prices are:
Adults: MUR 800 each.
Children aged five to eleven: MUR 400 each.
Children under five: free.
The ticket includes the Chamarel Waterfall viewpoints, Seven Coloured Earth and the tortoise park.
For two adults, budget MUR 1,600 for admission, in addition to your agreed sightseeing-transfer price.
Ebony Forest and other separately operated activities require their own tickets. The waterfall visit is to the viewpoints; a hike to its base is a different activity.
Chamarel accepts Mauritian rupees in cash and debit or credit cards, with some exclusions. Foreign cash is not accepted at the attraction, even if you are paying your driver in euros.
Can we include Black River Gorges or lunch?
Yes, provided the additional stops fit your pickup time and preferred hotel arrival.
A Black River Gorges viewpoint can be considered before the Chamarel visits. Treat this as an additional part of the itinerary, with time for the drive, parking and the stop itself.
If lunch is important, include it when booking. A restaurant meal needs more time than a brief refreshment break.
A sensible starting plan is Chamarel plus one additional priority, such as a viewpoint or a relaxed lunch. Adding Grand Bassin, several viewpoints, a distillery and a forest activity creates a much longer day.

What pickup time should we choose?
Start with three details:
When you must leave your room in Belle Mare.
When you would like to reach your Le Morne hotel.
Which visits you want between the two properties.
For a direct transfer, plan the pickup around checkout and your preferred arrival time.
For sightseeing, leaving earlier gives you more visiting time. Complete checkout and have your luggage ready before the agreed collection time.
Planning example: A 10:00 pickup and a preferred 16:00 hotel arrival create a six-hour window. That must cover all driving, sightseeing, lunch and breaks. It does not provide six hours inside attractions.
If your hotel requires room checkout before you want to leave, ask reception whether it can hold your bags until pickup.

Required child seats.
The number of passenger seats does not tell us how much luggage a vehicle can carry. For example, four passengers with four large suitcases and a pushchair need a different space assessment from four passengers with small day bags.
Your bags travel in the booked vehicle between stops. Keep passports, money, medication and other essentials with you during visits.

No. It is the starting price per vehicle for a direct transfer for two adults. We confirm the appropriate vehicle using your luggage details. Larger parties and additional requirements may change the price.
Is sightseeing included in the direct-transfer price?
No. A visit to Chamarel or another attraction requires additional driving and waiting time. We agree on one complete transport price for your chosen itinerary before you book.
Can we travel from Le Morne to Belle Mare instead?
Yes. We also arrange the reverse journey. The order of sightseeing stops and pickup time are planned around your departure hotel and arrival requirements.
Can we visit Chamarel after checking in at Le Morne?
Yes. You can book the direct hotel transfer and visit Chamarel on another day.
This can suit guests who want to settle in first, leave their suitcases at the hotel or spend longer exploring the Chamarel area.
Can we arrive at the new hotel before our room is ready?
You can request an earlier drop-off, but the hotel decides when your room and facilities are available. Check luggage storage, changing facilities, meals and pool access directly with the property.
Can we change the sightseeing plan if the weather is poor?
Contact us before pickup so we can review the route. Visibility may affect the value of viewpoint stops.
Changes depend on the agreed booking and any tickets or restaurant reservations already made. We discuss any price implications before confirming a different arrangement.
Can you provide a child seat?
Yes. Send each child’s age, height and approximate weight when booking. Mention if you need a rear-facing seat and whether you are bringing a pushchair.
How do we pay?
Pay your driver in cash at the end of the journey. We accept euros, British pounds, Mauritian rupees and US dollars. Agree on your preferred payment currency when booking.
Card payment is not available in the vehicle. Attractions have their own payment arrangements.
