Mauritius Golf Course Transfers: Hotel Pickup, Golf Bags and Return Times

Which golf course are you visiting?
Send the exact course name from your golf booking. A resort name alone may not identify the correct clubhouse or entrance.
We can quote for journeys to courses across Mauritius, including:
North: Mont Choisy Le Golf.
East: Constance Legend Golf Course, Constance Links Golf Course and Anahita Golf at Beau Champ.
Île aux Cerfs: road transport to the confirmed departure jetty, followed by the golf club’s boat connection.
West: Tamarina Golf Club.
Le Morne: Paradis Golf Club.
Bel Ombre: Heritage Le Château Golf Course and La Réserve Golf Links.
For Constance, specify whether you are playing Legend or Links. For Heritage, specify Le Château or La Réserve. These are different courses, so the meeting instructions matter.
Confirm your tee time and visitor eligibility directly with the club before finalising transport. La Réserve has access restrictions, so a transfer reservation should only follow confirmation that you can play.
What time should your driver collect you?
Your tee time is the time you start playing. You may need to arrive earlier to register, collect rental equipment, change shoes or warm up.
Ask the club when and where it wants you to report. We then plan backwards from that arrival time, allowing for the drive from your accommodation and an appropriate traffic buffer.
For example:
Your tee time is 09:30.
The club asks you to arrive by 09:00.
The estimated drive is 45 minutes.
An additional 15 minutes is allowed for delays.
The calculated hotel pickup is 08:00.
This is an illustrative calculation. It is not a fixed journey time or a universal arrival allowance for Mauritius golf courses.

Transfers to Île aux Cerfs Golf Club
Île aux Cerfs requires a boat crossing after the road journey. Your driver cannot take you directly to the island clubhouse.
The golf club identifies Pointe Maurice as a departure jetty for its golf shuttle. Some hotels have their own boat arrangements, so send us the instructions attached to your golf reservation before booking a road transfer.
Your schedule needs to include:
The drive from your hotel to the correct jetty.
Time to unload your equipment and board.
The boat crossing.
Time to reach the clubhouse and complete the club’s arrival formalities.
We confirm the road pickup around those arrangements. Check the current boat schedule and what your golf package includes directly with the club or hotel.
For the return journey, your vehicle collection is from the agreed mainland jetty. Finishing your round does not mean you are immediately ready for the road transfer. Allow for returning to the boat, boarding and crossing back.
How much space do golf bags need?
The number of passenger seats does not tell you how much golf equipment a vehicle can carry.
When requesting a quote, tell us:
How many people will travel, including non-playing companions.
How many golf bags you are bringing.
Whether the clubs will be inside large travel covers or hard cases.
Whether you have folding golf trolleys.
Whether suitcases or other luggage will also travel.
A group carrying clubs for a round needs a different arrangement from the same group travelling with clubs, hard cases and holiday luggage.
If your hotel can store your empty travel cases, leaving them there may reduce the space required for a golf outing. Check this with the hotel first.
For bulky equipment, a photograph or approximate dimensions can help us assess the vehicle. Larger groups may need additional luggage transport or more than one vehicle, which we confirm before booking.

Does the driver wait while we play?
We can quote for two different arrangements.
Outward transfer with a scheduled return pickup
Your driver drops you at the agreed location, and a return vehicle is booked for a confirmed collection time.
This suits a golf day when you do not need transport available throughout the round. The vehicle is not reserved at the course while you play.
Agree on the return meeting point and how to contact us if your schedule changes.
Driver hire for an agreed period
You can request a vehicle and driver for a defined number of hours, including waiting during your round.
The booked period includes driving and waiting. Lunch, changing time and any extra stops must fit within those hours or be agreed as an extension.

How should you choose the return pickup time?
Ask the club for an expected round duration for your booking, then include anything you plan to do afterwards.
You may need time to return a buggy or rental clubs, shower, have lunch and collect your belongings.
If your group has several tee times, plan collection around the last group finishing. For example, golfers starting at 09:00 and 09:20 should not automatically share a return time calculated only from the first start.
For Île aux Cerfs, also allow for the boat journey back to the mainland.
If play is delayed, contact us as soon as you have an updated estimate. We will discuss the available collection options and any additional waiting charge. A scheduled return transfer does not provide unlimited waiting or immediate collection whenever the round finishes.
Check whether your hotel already includes golf transport
Before booking, ask your hotel what is included in your room rate or golf package.
Check the specific course, both journey directions and whether the arrangement covers road transport, boat transport or both. Also ask whether the timetable fits your tee time and whether places need reserving.
A package that includes green fees does not necessarily include every part of the journey.
Private transport can be useful when you are staying in an apartment or villa, visiting a course outside your hotel’s arrangements, or need a different pickup schedule.
How much do Mauritius golf course transfers cost?
We quote for the agreed vehicle arrangement and journeys.
The price depends on your pickup location, course, passenger numbers, equipment, travel date and whether you need a return pickup or a driver to wait.
Your transport quotation confirms the vehicle arrangement, route, driver, fuel, parking and any booked waiting time.
Green fees, rental clubs, golf buggies, meals and boat charges are separate unless expressly included. There is no single island-wide fare that suits every hotel and course combination.

Can we book transfers for several golf days?
Yes. Send the dates, courses and confirmed tee times together. We can prepare a quotation showing the transport required on each day.
If you change hotels during your stay, identify the pickup address for each date.
Can you collect golfers from different hotels?
Yes, subject to an agreed route and schedule. Send every pickup address and the number of passengers and bags at each location.
The first pickup needs to allow time for the remaining collections before travelling to the course.
Can non-playing family members travel with us?
Yes, provided they are included in the passenger count and vehicle arrangement.
If they need a separate outing while you play, tell us when enquiring. That requires its own schedule and may need another vehicle.
What if the club changes or cancels our tee time?
Send us the updated information promptly so we can review the transport.
Our standard transport bookings can be cancelled free of charge at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup. Golf bookings and other separately arranged services have their own conditions. A club cancellation does not automatically cancel your transport.
How do we pay?
Payment is in cash to the driver at the end of each agreed journey or booked day. We accept Mauritian rupees, euros, British pounds and US dollars.
For several golf days, we confirm the payment schedule with your quotation. Card payment is not available in the vehicles.
