There’s no extra fee for luggage as long as it fits in one vehicle. We’ll ensure the car we send has sufficient trunk space once we know your needs.

Q: Can we stop for photos or a break along the way?
A: Since this is a private transfer, short stops can be accommodated. If you want to pause to take a quick photo of a stunning view or need a restroom break, simply ask the driver. They are usually happy to show you a great viewpoint or let you grab a refreshment. Just keep in mind, if it’s a very long stop (more than a quick break), it’s better to arrange a dedicated tour. But normal short stops are perfectly fine and one of the perks of a private ride.

A: For most bookings, payment is done upon arrival – meaning you pay the driver after the service (at drop-off). We do not typically require advance payment or deposit, which gives you flexibility (and trust in us). We accept payment in cash (we’ll specify acceptable currencies, usually Mauritian Rupees MUR, or equivalent in EUR/USD/GBP based on prevailing rates). If you prefer to pay by card, let us know – we might be able to arrange an online payment link before your travel. But the simplest is pay on arrival. This way, you only pay once the service is delivered. Note: For very large group bookings or special vehicle charters, a small deposit might be requested, but that’s rare for standard transfers.

Q: Is it customary to tip the driver in Mauritius?
A: Tipping is not mandatory, but if you feel you’ve received great service, a tip is always appreciated by the drivers (as it is worldwide). Even a small amount like 100-200 MUR (a few dollars) for a good service is a kind gesture. It’s totally up to you and not expected. Our drivers’ level of service will be the same regardless of tips. A: Yes, we provide round-trip and departure transfers too. If you didn’t book your return ride initially, you can always book it during your stay. Just contact us at least a day or two before your departure (or sooner) to arrange pickup from the resort. We’ll set a pickup time that gets you to the airport at least 2-3 hours before your flight (or your preferred timing). Our driver will meet you at the hotel lobby or entrance at the appointed time, help with luggage, and get you to SSR Airport for your flight home.
